In my basement apartment on a sunny day playing partly cloudy music in a partly cloudy way. My mind's a blank as far as music goes so I'll go down for a beer at a bar called Joe's.

Hey bartender won't you lend me a dime. I spent all my money here it didn't take much time. Call my wife for me will you, tell her I'm coming home. Don't you tell her I was crawlin' she already knows.

As I crawled in the door there stood my wife. She wore the meanest face I'd ever seen in my life She broke my guitar in two, kicked me in the head. Now I'm in the doghouse and she's got the bed.
